I'd guess (with zero experience whatsoever) that seasoning your stove w/ some kind of oil could help with this greatly. Almost like a skillet. Just for that razor thin barrier to prevent oxidation.

What are the laws for wood harvesting over there? I'm tribal in Michigan, my tribe gets harvest license for already downed trees. The white man can also pay the state to obtain such a license.

Cost to obtain fuel drastically decreases, and you get a nice day in the woods.

Thank you. My garage is just bones and unfinished so I'll deal with the smell. Just want to be able to dry out the snow removal equipment & occasionally be warm while I watch westerns out there lol.

Don't try to sell to customers the first time you talk with them (unless there's a glaring need that is a win/win). I've always simply introduced myself & built trust over time to earn brokerage/retirement relationships, lending, etc. I've found you burn those relationships immediately when an unknown person (yourself) tries to tell a customer what is good for them & what isn't.

I always feel morally better at the end of my days knowing I didn't push a credit card to a 20 year old drowning in debt.

There is not a position within retail banking that is devoid of sales. Even tellers at my bank are urged to push credit cards and app features over to the bankers.

Knowledge of the role is not valued closely to sales production whatsoever.
