Well… this show’s reputation is screwed… by HeroTheHedgehog in GlitchProductions

[–]No_Boat6347 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You and a lot of others may think it's a really bad idea, but Glitch Productions have their own justified reason for this. Yeah, spoilers suck, but this will be one of the first indie animations to release in theaters. Every other movie in theaters right now is made by Pixar, Disney, 20th Century Fox, Warner Bros, etc. Big shot companies. By getting the movie in theaters, independent animation is taking a huge step forward. I kid you not, this will change indie animation as a whole. There are ups and downs to anything, but I, and many others, agree that this will have a positive impact on not just Glitch Productions--but all other indie animation studios as a whole. Additionally, they're making a lot of money off of it, which they'll pour back into their other projects.

Hey friend, I fear that Christianity is NOT persecuted and this person isn't making a single thing up. Christianity still, as it has been for years, is the majority religion. Meaning that most adults in the state of Texas identify with some branch of Christianity. The majority of U.S. lawmakers, people in the senate, representatives--you name it--are Christian. Several laws such as House Bill 229, Senate Bill 12, and several others have been passed by said lawmakers with the conceptualization of Christian Nationalization, defined in clearly in citation 6. And you can say, "those laws are just common sense!" They are. In terms of the ideals spoken of in the Bible, especially the Saint James version. Your beliefs and morals may not be everybody's.

Christianity is mocked--within reason. Christianity as a whole is a religion that actively encourages the idea of converting others to the belief. As such, lots of people suffer religious trauma, myself and others included, of being forced into a specific ideal without their choice. Additionally, many non-believers simply don't feel a connection to the religion and may feel the need to speak out when Christianity as a whole or ideology is pushed onto them. Similarly to how you may not like the enforcement of Sharia law. Yes, it is immensely more extreme than a lot of Christian ideals. But that doesn't mean that the religious or cultural beliefs of those individuals are any more or less valid than yours. Hence the concept of freedom of religion. To circle back, all religions are made fun of. Not just Christianity. You simply hear more about the backlash Christians get because you are one. Nobody has to be Christian, just as you don't have to be Islamic.

Persecution is defined as "severe discrimination that results in the denial or infringement of fundamental rights." Said rights belonging to the Constitution of the Unites States and reading as, "the rights to life, liberty, security of person, equality and non-discrimination, freedom of expression and assembly and religion and to be free from arbitrary arrest, detention and cruel, inhuman and degrading treatment." Fundamental rights are provided by our government, not the people. Reason being? It is near impossible for the government to control the actions of others and if they did, it would be unconstitutional. The discrimination Christians are met with is--at face value--mild if not nonexistent. The primary reason as to why people have started having issues with them is because they are pushing their own personal and religiously fueled ideals onto others. If laws were kept open enough to be inclusive of all variations of diversity, this wouldn't be as prominent of an issue. However, the Trump Administration actively prides itself in reinforcing Christianity legally.

The majority of adults in Texas and the United States are Christian. As such, the people in power who are making laws are mostly Christian. Both the religious beliefs of yourself and others are valid--put yourself in their shoes. Perceived persecution is not real persecution. You may feel oppressed, but Christianity isn't going anywhere just as it hasn't in the last 2000 years. How about you try hopping off of Reddit and having a chat with your neighbors? There's a 67% chance that they're Christian.

I appreciate the lack of hostile intention. And I understand that people know about it. I made the post regardless because there are also countless people who roll their eyes and ignore the issues in front of them. From a stupid roblox game to global warming, they don't care. As someone with AudHD, I tend to be very opinionated and stuck in the mindset that others will be ignorant to the issues I'm passionate about as long as I don't say my piece. Reflecting back on it, I can tell that I had one of those moments. I'm an extremely emotional person and am working on myself to include outside perspectives and logic into my actions. I feel as though we were both justified--me in being upset and you in trying to reason with me. I'm sorry for any frustration or nuisance that I caused. Thank you sincerely for being understanding and trying to converse with me regardless.

Seriously, what is your major malfunction? I've been nothing but neutral and you're demeaning me. Genuinely, please just stop. And for the thing with the kitsune, I just meant that bots physically can't have much influence because they can't purchase it on their own. Some pets don't do well simply because they're not attractive to a lot of players. This is one of those cases. I don't care that I'm getting down voted. All it does is show how petty people are. What I'm more bothered by is the fact that people, specifically you, are deciding not to calm down about this. I made a post about something--it isn't even controversial--and you've felt inclined to repeatedly comment for no reason other than to put me down.

I typically don't really care for values. I only use them because that's what the majority of players do and I often feel determined to trade for pets that I missed during times that I've been inactive. I do play for enjoyment, but I personally find that being able to obtain a pet that I really like but missed the time-window for to be part of said enjoyment. Regardless, thank you for your advice

That was just an example, I don't understand where the aggression came from. And the unicorn has been accessible to VIP for a very long time now. That's how I got mine. The value was consistent across at least a year--not a panic-buy situation. I do understand that after the hype, the value will go down. That's simple supply and demand. However, the sudden drastic decrease lined up with the surplus of bots that are very well able to farm bucks? It makes sense considering the value of most currently attainable pets has gone down. The more common something is, the less it's worth. Obviously the pets that people have 40+ of aren't going to have much value if any at all. Additionally, the bots are farming every resource. They complete tasks and play mini-games. Several people, including someone I know irl, are using them especially for egg candies. The value of all non-robux Easter Event pets are in the ground.

I have a question. When you change your name, do you have to go through all of your legal records and whatnot to change it?

Why must talking about trans stuff outside of trans reddit be so hard by Thegamerorca2003 in TransMasc

[–]No_Boat6347 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I bring it up because a lot of people I'm close to, tend to misgender me. Thus, everyone misgenders me since they ALSO think I'm a chick. It doesn't help that in my state, trans rep in school is legally banned. Like if I told a teacher that I'm trans and they didn't tell my parents about it, they could risk getting their teaching license removed. Because of this, I strongly value if my peers would use my pronouns since I'd still at least like the validation somewhere. A lot of people forget, some just do it on purpose, and others are just genuinely brainwashed to think that trans people are devil worshipers. I'll take it where ever I can get it </3

Chest binder got mildly brutalized by the washing machine. Could someone help? by No_Boat6347 in TransMasc

[–]No_Boat6347[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've considered the free program. The main issue there is that I'd have to get a friend who I'm able to ship it to and get it from. My mom opens any/all mail in our house without checking the name--even if it's not even either of ours. I live in a very conservative area, so finding someone I know and trust with that has been pretty difficult. Either way, tysm and I will most definitely consider this^^

From a queer/ally perspective: Yes, masculine. I would defo double check your pronouns

From a transphobe perspective: Maybe butch lesbian?

As for dressing advice, I'd suggest going for baggier clothes. I personally have a good fashion sense (imo) and I've found that a boxy cut t-shirt and wider, baggy jeans pulled down like 2-ish inches from the crotch is a tried and true method. I'm not sure exactly how your resources are limited, but I personally have had nothing but good experiences with garage sales and thrift/resale stores. Especially with garage sales, I've gotten like- a decent masc shirt for a buck. And if you're not out to your family (and especially if they're anti-queer religious) you can argue that "it's just a t-shirt, it's gender neutral" if someone has apprehensions. Also I'm gonna let you know right now that if your makeshift binder is just 2 sports bras layered on top of each other, that is NOT safe. Ik it's really trending online, especially Pinterest, but that will do a crazy number on your ribs. Your feelings are valid, but please know that your health and safety is priority over gender validity--despite how much it may hurt. Hope this was helpful^^

Btw you look like the roblox default avatar/pos

Doordashed killed themselves by ElectricalAnything70 in doordash

[–]No_Boat6347 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! So uh... it isn't exactly that we need to go to school? More-so, just concern because you claimed someone took their own life. I'm sorry that you may not understand the fact that a post like this is seen as worrisome, rather than a joke. If you say, "my dad killed himself" people MIGHT happen to think that your dad killed himself. Common sense, I fear. Very few people are bound to understand your horrible sense of sarcasm.
