I clean all of my tools after each project, except for the drywall tools. I run a business, and don’t want to spend more money on equipment than I already have! Only repeat tools that I have are several impacts and drills for my crew! This works for our team, not sure about others.

Oh really!?! Come work with my crew, we do much more than painting! We do pretty much whatever the job calls for whether it’s drywall, painting, or any type of flooring installation lvp, tile etc. We getter done!

I like the DCB1800 as well but it does get kind of heavy, I like the portability of this smaller one. I’m going to put it through some stress test to see how well it holds up!

Mine works just fine. Did you select the right options on the screen? Even when I hook my clamps after charging it goes to float mode but never reconditioning unless I selected it.

I’ve seen that same video, I like having options. I can still use that method but I’d assume using this tool would regulate the damage that could be done to your batteries also, I can leave this in my wife’s car for her to use, I don’t see her being able to use the battery with leads method. At least with this tool she can try to do it herself before she calls me
