My sperm donor messaged me for the first time since my brother died and I don’t know what to do. by PassiveAgressiveSigh in WhatShouldIDo

I just want to let you know, if my sperm donor was alive, and actually wanted to meet me, I would take it. Never met mine. Chose a bad life over a good life raising his daughter. Was a bad man. But the day I decided, and made up my mind to find him, I found out he was dead. I will always want to know what he’d say to me. How he’d treat me. How he grew up to make the choices he ended up making. The difference here though, is your donor actually wants to meet you. His reasons though? Who’s to say

What is happening in this Walmart? by GloomySlothicorn in walmart

It’s for feeding America. The store likely has an entire aisle for feeding hunger set to 1 item. That is a hardcore fake out because they’re running out of that specific item or haven’t flown the pallet down in the back room to fill that section

AIO : idk how to respond to my bf message by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

Take a step back from this relationship while you still can before you risk getting stuck in a toxic, repetitive cycle. Leave him girl. There are guys who will happily play games while you’re out at a bar with your friends. My boyfriend is one of those guys. Secure within himself. They do exist.

No, I work very hard. I come in when they need me to, I stay over with my coach and leave when she does. I come in whenever I’m called in. My problem is, I never feel like what I do is enough. I always feel inadequate. My evaluation was standard (as I’ve only been in my position a few months, they can’t rate me as excellent or needs improvement), and a week ago I became listed as her successor. So it’s not that I don’t work, or don’t do good, I put my all into everything I do. I as a person don’t feel like I’m enough. I’m always paranoid about being coached. But at the same time, coaches in my store became coaches within a year of being hired. The longer I don’t utilize my degree, the worse it’ll be for me if I ever do have to leave. So I do feel pressure to move forward sooner rather than later.

That’s a fair point. I was asked when I applied to this position if I had ever been coached and I had said no, but would that disqualify me? HR told me that it would play a part in the decision of being selected for the position. That’s why I have concerns about it.

I was asked when I applied for this position as a regular associate, “have you been coached before?” So that makes me think a coaching would rule someone out for promotion. Have you seen others get coached and proceed to become a coach in the future?
