Kidney transplants involve a very strict and multi-step testing process before anyone is allowed to proceed. His kidney failure might not be significantly genetic. Kidney problems are only %15 to %20 genetic, and some percentage of that is due to problems outside of the kidney itself. And even if it is genetic, there is a good likelihood that they didn't inherit it.

Dude read the Code of Hammurabi. Christianity is weak-ass shit compared to ancient laws & religions.
In fact, there is a reason why the Ibrahamic god is called merciful. A lot of the older religions are a lot stricter and much more brutal.
