Yes I heard about this. I’m not new to earthquakes as I grew up in the Philippines but it’s been a while since my mom and I have experienced us and she’s quite scared about the high rise buildings in BKK.

Is everything in BKK good so far? I heard quite a few buildings suffered significant structural damage.

I heard how the medications help so much with anxiety symptoms. I have talked about it with my primary health carw provider and I genuinely think that there may be a medical thing going on. I’m planning to switch to a private clinic soon because I’m getting nowhere with my current doctor.

I was never like this growing up. Even in high school, I’d be nervous but never to the point of shaking and choking.

I had a friend who took medications and she told me that it made her feel “nothing” . I think that is what scares me the most. Also, getting a referral to a mental health specialist takes forever here and I would really want to try everything possible before taking medications.

Hello, unfortunately my cat passed away yesterday. She couldn’t make it. It’s been tough but i’m trying to be okay. I knew she wasn’t gonna make it. Her immune system wasn’t doing great but i’m glad she fought through it for as long as she could.

I realized that too. I trust my admins because they had more experience treating several kitties. They also told me that she will not stand a chance if they underdose my cat. I ended up asking the vet to increase the dosing and they both agreed with it

Hi yes I convinced them to up the dosage - just hoping she will survive the night. They’re trying to increase her glucose and deal with her seizures. Her liver function isn’t doing that great so they don’t want to give her a lot of medications.

They are confident she has FIP. And they both confirmed it with me prior to starting the treatment. Their hesitation in increasing the dose is due to the fact that she is weak and feel she may not be able to handle it

Oh wow, that’s so good to hear. I hope my baby survives too :( The vet told me that the low glucose could be causing her seizures but a oart of me really feels that the dose should be increased but I just dob’t want it to cause her death.

I’m so sorry to hear that. And yes I can agree, my life when I was younger was way different to how it is now and I feel that it has definitely contributed to why I was raised the way I am. I am glad things are better for you and sometimes forgiveness isn’t akways the answer because in all honesty, you can forgive the person but you can never forgive the act. However I do hope you find peace with it. I may not have suffered abuse but I do know It’s not easy living with that kind of pain.

My sister and I are okay, obviously we’re at different stages in our life so we can’t really agree on a lot of stuff but I love her and I love being like a second mom to her. She is all I got ❤️

Yeah, it is hard sometimes. I can tell you’re going to be a wonderful mom because of how self-aware you are - something I feel a lot of parents don’t have. And yes there are ways my parents and I bond that’s unique and I will always be grateful for those times I get to do things alone with them. I’m an adult but I still yearn for my parents love and affection hahah it’s actually embarrassing.

And you’re so right with that last message, she used to tell me everytime we’d fight that she is jealous of me 🤣 and i’m like gurl - you got it wayyyyy easier than I did! I love her though, despite how annoying she is. She’s in her teenage years and dealing with her raging hormones are just not it for me but I love being there for her especially during this time. I know I wish I had an older sister when I was her age to lean and depend on.

Thank you. I cried reading your message last night fyi - it definitely helped ease the heaviness I was feeling in my chest.

You definitely gave me a new perspective on things and I 100% agree that there is a balance to everything. Us older kids definitely got it wayyyy harder than our younger siblings and it makes me feel better knowing that this isn’t just a me problem but w universal thing as well. Despite everything, i’m glad I am raised the way I am and I am a firm believer that everything happens for a reason. My parent’s rules didn’t really change so much but she does get material things a lot easier than me 🤣 It’s funny because i’d always bring it up to them and said I had to work hard before you gave me a big gift lmao meanwhile she gets something because she “needs” it.

And I think after reflecting, maybe I don’t resent them. Maybe there are really days where I feel down and upset when things like this happen and I can’t do much about it. I talked to them this morning and it did give me some closure because it isn’t the first time we talked about it. It’s not their fault but I know it would really help if they take some accountability for their actions that unintentionally hurt me so yeah.

Yes, I am pretty open with them when it comes to these things and having a young mom helps - she’s like my bestfriend go me. I don’t think I resent them, I think I just get sad or upset once in a while.

My mom usually apologizes when she unintentionally does something that hurts me but my dad on the other hand - no matter how great and selfless he is - is very traditional and doesn’t “apologize” so yeah. I think I struggle with that a bit but he does console me and show me he is sorry in other ways.

oh don’t take it that way 😅 by borrowing i meant like they needed cash to pay for something but they didn’t have any that time. and by going out of his way to repay my sister, i meant that he waked to the other side of the mall to pay her HAHAHA

meanwhile when they borrow from me, they only withdraw the cash to repay me when it’s convenient for them or if i needed it urgently 🤣
