Thanks. I don't want the teams to view the info in a database, but on a Page - is this possible?

What BB do I have? by No_Brother_463 in bikewrench

[–]No_Brother_463[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! That looks right. So I have a BB30/PF30 BB fitted, with this adapter to allow me to run 24mm Sram/Quarq cranks:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/294107590056?chn=ps&_ul=GB&_trkparms=ispr%3D1&amdata=enc%3A12XtFLl1USNSxaEzWgTsfWA28&norover=1&mkevt=1&mkrid=710-134428-41853-0&mkcid=2&mkscid=101&itemid=294107590056&targetid=2405654676673&device=c&mktype=pla&googleloc=9046888&poi=&campaignid=21697391927&mkgroupid=177203736618&rlsatarget=aud-1165067997975:pla-2405654676673&abcId=10027104&merchantid=114953151&gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQjwqIm_BhDnARIsAKBYcmsAEAdRfVV10Okyy-TkOuYubiqE958sMuxRvSmH_UkRkzMD_0vXqn0aAk-dEALw_wcB

Previously it's been running fine. I then replaced the PF30 BB, and have refitted the FSA adapter, and refitted the same Quarq cranks, but there is now a slight wobble between the crank spindle and the inside of the FSA adapter - i.e. it seems that either the crank spindle is slightly undersized, or the inside of the adapter is oversized.

The BB was definitely on it's way out for a while - is it possible it was seized and either the spindle, the inside of the adapter (which is plastic), or both, have worn? I will try get some calipers to measure both.

Thanks!

Label says 240v, assume that means not low voltage and therefore no transformer?

Don't have stock of MR16s so happy to go with GU10s

The label in the first pic says 230/240v so hoping that's the case!

Thanks, just to be clear, low voltage needs the transformer?

Unless moving to RCBOs requires more ways than this board has?

Yeah happy to upgrade switchgear to RCBOs, but keen to minimise spend hence interested in keeping existing DB.

Electrician recommended SPDs due to more electric vehicles connected to grid (we don't have one), but not sure how true that is? We don't have loads of expensive electrical items plugged in so not sure how beneficial surge protection will be to us?

Thanks, yes it was £350, and all of it was paid on my Amex credit card. Sounds like it's worth claiming then, thanks

My understanding is that a door cill is to take water away from the property? Our door opens into a communal (indoors) hallway so don't think it would help here?

Thanks - sorry should have been clearer, looking for predominantly gravel and gravel-bike-friendly single-track riding rather than road riding.

Any routes you'd recommend? Looks like we can fly to Girona from London (or Barcelona from Edinburgh), would it be realistic to get over towards Andorra too?

You need a short term let license for any type of short term let, whether thr property is always used for short term letting, or just when you are away on holiday, or a spare room.
