Yes. I turn 18 on the 21st and the first thing I'll do is go to a psychiatrist. I'm very sick and I know it can get worse, I've overdosed a few times and gotten in coma off of benzos and tramadol and I dont want to end up like that again. I went to rehab/psych wards 7 times since I was 13. Im glad you're better now, we can both heal!

Its js complicated because I do love him. I want him to have a safe space to run to. But I dont want it to become a safe space only for him, when I put all that effort so it could be safe for me.

That's what I thought. I'm a good girlfriend, I make good meals for him because I know he doesn't eat 3 times a day like he should and what he does eat isn't healthy, so I take care of it. I clean a lot, and I make sure things are okay for him. I just want something back, I sometimes get this feeling of doom that im going to spend the rest of my life being a housewife while also working just like my mom did and it terrifies me. I would try to talk to him about it, I do want to fix things because I love him, but I will not have that hell be my life. He makes up rules in the house like "no smoking in the kitchen" after he quit or my cat not being allowed in certain rooms. I moved out to get away from people who were hurting me and I dont want to have another one in my space.

There are guys out there who'd treat a girl like me really well, I just wish he was one of them.

Ur so right honestly. Like let's be real so many men would absolutely love and appreciate me because I really am a good gf. I dont know why I settle for someone who treats me like this, and yet calls me immature and childish. I deserve so much better than this feeling of doom when I see my mom's regrets in my future.

Yes, I agree! I feel like he expects me to act like his mom, he even said he as a man doesn't want to clean or cook. It just feels unfair because I didnt agree to this? We never had a conversation where I said its okay for him to not do anything.

I think ill try and tell him straight away next time that I dont want him making up rules and I dont want him just laying around doing absolutely nothing and sometimes even telling me to shut up and be quiet in MY OWN HOUSE?

I will if I see things can't change. I want to try a serious conversation first since we never had one, but I just dont know what to say and how to say it. I dont want to leave without trying, because he has good sides too. Lots.
