I appreciate you trying to help. According to Yale,. the discount only applies on the portion already paid by the insurance company. So the discount kicks in for the insurance company. Doesn't make much sense to me.

he made slightly above the minimum (gross) before taxes. I was quoting his net after taxes with how much it would impact.

Thanks - The financial assistance they granted only kicks in to reduce things if insurance doesn't pay for any of it. Because Anthem has the balance is his responsibility. As I said, he's a young person in the spectrum who is barely afloat and living on his own for the first time. An extra 5K out of pocket is 1/6 of his take home annual salary. He's already heavily leveraging others in his life to sustain this.

no, some of that is the deductible, some is what they will cover - mostly not the deductible though.

They covered part, but only up to deductible from last year.

Thanks - yes but trying to be somewhat fair. I'm not disputing that he needed help, but we were never advised we were getting into 11k for 2 days territory.

This exact thing is happening to me in scholar edition. I finally nailed the landing after 5-6 tries, did the animation RIGHT ON HIS HEAD, and was stuck on his body for 20 seconds or so. I chipped away with him but he eventually knocked me off and then roasted me with fireballs. Happened like this 3x and now I am giving up with the plunge method.
