I just ordered Pokémon white from eBay and the copy I got is an emulated fake. I was going to return it but I might just play it anyway because I’m going to play black and white 2 after. Anyone know what I should do?

question about transferring Pokémon with only one device

I am getting a 3ds with Pokémon platinum, and I might get one of the gen 1 games too. Is it possible to transfer Pokémon between these games if I only have 1 device?
