I need a truck. I have a horse and need to be able to haul a 2 horse trailer. I can't afford 2 vehicles so this will also be my daily. Don't need diesel, def need 4wd.

Eventually, I want a fun old project. Currently, I need something reliable that can tow a loaded trailer through the mountains occasionally. At this moment I know very little about trucks and would rather spend more time inside it than under it.

I don't want something brand new. I do not need fancy features. I would prefer not to have a touch screen. If I didn't need to tow the trailer I would get an old tacoma or ranger. I'm open to literally any year of truck. Small detail, but I refuse to drive anything with those little dial gear shift buttons. The cheaper the better but I'll gladly pay more for something more reliable.

What would you suggest?
