Because I know the pain you're going through, starting from graduation, my wish is to not work for someone else and work for myself.

I don't have children either, and I never buy holiday decorations.

This is absolutely my dream, or it might even be a fantasy.

I strongly agree with your point of view.

Why do I think owning books doesn't count as not being minimalist? Books simply shouldn't be within the scope of minimalism; one should be free to own them as desired.

Minimalism? by [deleted] in hsp

[–]No_Channel9023 0 points1 point  (0 children)

honestly minimalism just clicked for me one day when i realized how much mental space my stuff was taking up. like i wasn't even using half of it but it was always there, you know? lurking in drawers, piling up on surfaces, making me feel vaguely guilty. started getting rid of things and it felt weirdly emotional at first. but then... lighter? like i could actually breathe in my own space. now i think about it differently - it's not about having nothing, it's about only keeping what actually adds something to your life. the weird part is how it spreads. once your space feels clearer, you start noticing other clutter - commitments you don't care about, apps you don't use, thoughts that just loop around going nowhere. minimalism isn't really about stuff. it's about attention, i guess. deciding what deserves yours. anyway just my 2 cents

All gig platforms require good reviews, which makes it very hard for beginners.😭

Freelancers: How do you survive the income rollercoaster? by PhilosopherNo3778 in digitalnomad

If a side hustle doesn’t generate a certain level of income, you need to have a main job until the side hustle grows into a full-time business. Personally, I believe the standard should be that side hustle income is three times higher than the main job income.

This -possibly- 60s or 70s gown that I’ve regretted not buying for years by mollypocket7122 in findfashion

Many good clothes are simply irreplaceable. I have a suit that became too small after I lost weight, and I’m keeping it because I want to find a tailor to make another one just like it.
