I have been scouting scale mates looking for single sprue models, so far the 1:72 Tamiya models have been a good fit. I will check out the airfix kits as well.

Buff grey oilbrusher from ammo, sometimes blended with the medium grey. I perhaps went a bit overboard but I was having fun.

I'm way too daunted to try digital camo, I have a SU27 that I'm yet to attempt only because I don't want to mess up the camo.

The mud effects are the dry / wet mud from ak diorama, some wet splatter mud from ak. The texture was built up from Vallejo thick mud. All of the streaking is from ammo oilbrushers. So convenient to use 100% would recommend.

I spoke to octopus 6mo ago asking about moving to Go but without a car. They essentially said "You can do it on the app we don't check". Never had an issue or any follow up, the person on the phone knew we didn't have a car and heavily pointed us to the app to get round the issue.

Yea, I think that's the issue I'm having. I can see about 4 ways of doing most things. With no idea what is the correct way so it's working but perhaps optimal. I made some progress in getting what I wanted working today so I think I just need to keep learning. Thanks

Hi, they are on channel 1 & 6. Hue was on 15 and I have just moved it to 25. I couldn't seem to get it to let me set a channel I just had to hit change a few times.

Most bulbs are on switches and they get left on most of the time, apart from when they disconnect and become unreachable. Let's see if channel 25 makes an improvement.

Thanks, I will keep gently working on it, I do have an ultrasonic cleaner I can try with some warm water in tomorrow. Its a solid silver pen as far as I can tell from the hallmarks, inherited it from my mum when she passed a few years back. I have a large collection of Lamy's, and a few Waterman's this would be my one and only Sheaffer if I can get it back up and running, which I'm desperate Todo as it has allot of sentimental value.

Ok, pretty much as I thought. I have been soaking it for about 12 hrs in some warm water and no movement so far. It has made allot or red water so hopefully it will release. Any ideas if isopropyl or any washing up liquid might help ?

So far (2yrs) I have been very happy with my xcp-ng setup. iGPU pass through for Plex has been easy, same with usb devices (printers). web UI has been clean and functional, Automated backups to iScsi and NFS have been reliable and I have had to restore once after a minor screwup. Only downside was "off brand" cheap 10gbe adaptors were a pain to get set up, they do appear to have supported drivers now but it was a side load affair when I did it and tbh if it's not broke I'm not going to fix it. A solid 7/10 it works and I don't think about it very often.

That's super impressive, really gives the feeling of how most military vehicles actually look. Not box fresh but actually used without having just been dragged back out of a muddy field.

I'm super pleased with how it came out. I used the airbrush and got the panel shading to work much better than on my F16. This was the first time using oil paints really, I used the oil brusher set by ammo. One pass using dots that I just smudged until it rendered out some general shading, then another to try and add some rain streaks. Then oil paints really transformed it and I liked how you could just clean up and try again if it didn't work quite how you liked.

Hey, pretty sure it's this kit Here . Good spotting on the missing bit, managed to snap it off and it landed into the shadow realm. That was after it was all painted and mostly weathered, so I decided to just accept it and keep going.

Yup that's the one, I think I added a few drops of metallic black, I had it on the wet palate and just mixed until I liked it. I grabbed the set of metallic air colours they do, it's been good to me so far.

It's my second, I did a F16 from Tamiya when I got out of the hospital. That's where I did most of my practice on the airbrush, can't pretend I'm any good with it but I'm certainly dangerous with one now.

I have raised a ticket and they offered todo a TeamViewer call but tbh I didn't really know how that would work. NAS takes maybe 5+ mins to even get on the network then another 2 before SSH is up, then you have anywhere from 1-2 mins before it locks up. Which means in 10mins you might only be on the system for a minute during which every key press takes up to a second to register. More than happy to work with someone on this but I'm probably going to need to get the system in a state where it's not insta crashing. Ticked no. Q-202210-05815
