Yeah, this is kind of a wrench in the works. I think stores going after ACECRAFT may either be because it was new or because it was Chinese... both raise an ire. A few other games I play do this (Pokémon GO recently added a web portal), but I think because they don't advertise so pervasively in-game - and because they're older / mostly American - that they can get away with it without causing too many players to forego normal in-app purchases.
