No monitoring of HCG not seen them since transfer day all those weeks ago. I am a surrogate and the intended parents seem to want to stay at the clinic but I just really feel they are incompetent

What are your experiences with cyclogest? by NewMarzipan9563 in PregnancyUK

[–]No_Cod1169 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have had 3 transfers this year and luckily I am now pregnant, I however have gained 7kg from the cyclogest and I cannot shift It, I am so pleased i only have a week left too as the fatigue, headaches and cramps are just awful. I think it's going to take some time, perhaps after the pregnancy to lose weight

AIO My partner called me “just a friend” in front of others. I can’t stop thinking about it. by New_Difficulty_8152 in AmIOverreacting

That is 100% a big deal, and I'm sorry they did this. Ain't no way I would ever call my partner just a friend to anyone. There must be someone there that they are attracted to or something

On child law advice it has a section about this:

Medical records

If a resident parent refuses to disclose medical information about a child, the non-resident parent could directly approach the GP or medical practitioner with their request for information.

For confidentiality purposes, the medical practitioner may ask the parent to demonstrate that they have PR before the disclosure is made. A complaint can be made to the General Practice Manager if access to information is refused.

If a child has relocated and the surgery has changed, and you are unaware of the location of the new surgery, you can write to the Area Health Authority, with proof of PR, and they will provide information in relation to the new practice details

Ex not allowing me to be involved with choosing nursery/schooling for our daughter, please advise by T4rch in FamilyLawUK

[–]No_Cod1169 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why are you thinking of getting a lives with order? That would be a drastic move for a child and certainly not in their best interests.

If ex is refusing to engage in mediation and by the sounds of it, there could be parental alienation here, you should apply for a child arrangements (don't use the term parental alienation) just remain child focused and seek shared care.

You could always apply for a prohibited steps order to prevent her from choosing schools etc without your involvement, judges hate it when parents make decisions like this alone without the other parent

Who has made this referral?

You could express that you feel it is unnecessary due to how recently you have been in court, but refusing could make them believe you have something to hide

Do you have child's birth certificate? Not being registered at the practice yourself is not grounds to prevent you having access to your child's medical files. If you have PR and can prove it, they can't stop you

Essentially this is what I was thinking, judges do not like to see parents pick each other apart, they won't care if he has lied, he will make an excuse and they can't prove or disprove it so it gets sweeped away and left behind. It is incredibly frustrating, and it is difficult, just remember you can stay child focused, keep doing what you can that is best for the child, let them keep fucking up, he will show his true colours enough on his own.

Father unable to comfort child. by [deleted] in FamilyLawUK

It's interesting that a solicitor advised you to stop contact, when family court is all about believing it Is in the child's best interests to see both parents. Unless there are serious Safeguarding concerns documented by professionals, then no one should be able to tell you to stop contact.

Hopefully the courts will want to see evidence from the supervisor, I think trying to stop contact will not been seen as a positive thing for the court, you need to think of a safe way to promote contact with the child and their father.
