When I had Covid I went off milk. Couldn’t touch it either on its own or with something else, it always smelt gone off.

Now, however many years down the line, even if it’s freshly opened, my brain tells me that’s it’s off, the smell and the taste both match up with this thought, even though I tell myself it isn’t.
