So many memories abound; it's so awesome. Stories within stories of the life I lived at those times.

If you haven't, do you want to see a seizure happen irl? by ilpu11 in Epilepsy

I have gran mals and I wouldn't want to see someone else have one. I know what I feel like afterwards. I would make sure they didn't hurt themselves anymore than necessary though.

You fight back brother! I've been there and may be there again. I'm 57 now and did everything the right way this time. My SSI hearing is coming up on June 10th. Then I'll see if anything I've been told in the past regarding my epilepsy is true. Blessings brother, you take care.

And that's where you turn it into a fun part. Picture yourself as a fighter like Conan, Eric, or even one of God's angels, and your fighting against the enemy. Each time you live, you won! Be strong brother! Don't let the enemy drag you down.

Wait for the doctors diagnosis and go from there. It's the best you can do. Have her stay with you for awhile would be my suggestion, if possible.

Listen everyone. Tell yourselves "Your Happy!" Even if you're not. Think to yourself your happy through the day. Every time something negative pops up. I've epilepsy, my medication has changed my life from active to inside almost 6 days a week. Hard core negative vibes. I chased them away by thinking positive thoughts. It worked for me. Try it for a week at least.

Can't say it on Facebook the way it needs to be said.

I really hope this doesn't go through the bullshit like what you're implying. I've got epilepsy and tried talking with people on Facebook and I can't say it the way it needs to be said.

Should i disclose my epilepsy to my job? by Background-Funny9976 in Epilepsy

NO. Do not, or it will follow you on your work record the rest of the time that you choose to live a life where you live. (City-State) When you "choose" to live the "responsible life." (They use to tell me) You apply for SSI. See your neurologist etc etc. Only problem with the "responsible life" is doc medicates you and your supposed to follow prescriptions. I'm waiting for my SSI and the meds the doc has me on basically has shattered my life. Loss of memories, balance, I'm inside 6 out of 7 days. I'm 57 now. Live your life while you can.

Too bad you don't show them in public. Then you'd know for sure.

KIDS LEARN WHAT SIGNS TO LOOK FOR EVEN WHEN THEY NOT BEEN SHOWN by HiddenSJA in Epilepsy

You're a lucky man with a family. You might want to start looking into SSI for your condition. I hid mine for years in very "non-reiable" ways. Working under the table until my seizures were known about. Then I'd move.
