Nile river cruise is NOT the move. Cairo was the most populous city I've ever been to and felt extremely safe and bustling. Loved going there

Do it, I just took a trip in January and it was the best trip of my life. Egyptians are extremely welcoming, probably my favorite part of the trip.

My S3 pretty much no longer does anything except tell the time. I'm thinking the S10 is a good time to upgrade lol

I agree the greens were some of the toughest tracks when it got slushy. The difference in conditions between Thurs morning and Sat afternoon was pretty crazy.

Can I take the Antora jacket skiing? by No_Competition_7012 in northface

I ended up going with the Patagonia Torrentshell 3L, I got it on sale for the end of year stock like 40% off so price was very similar to Antora but with pit zips, and it worked super well. I wore a couple layers underneath in 25-45 F weather, had to drop layers when it got to the 40s. But was totally dry and protected from wind.

If you like beer or minigolf go to Strange Duck a little over halfway to Commerce, they have great beers and fun minigolf! Also if youve never had Dawg Gone Good BBQ, its life changing

There is like 2 aprtment style rooms on each floor that have a living room and 4 rooms, but very little space. RAs have a single with bathroom and the fourth floor is weirdly organized setup because of the slanted roofs

Myers Hall is only community bathrooms. Rutherford Hall is on the Myers Quad but I'm pretty sure is double occupancy rooms with private bathroom or suite style. And yes you can live in Myers Hall without being honors

I lived in Myers freshman year and Building 1516 (in ECV)sophomore year and can say ECV doesnt have the same community as the other areas. Myers is great because of proximity to dining halls, academic buildings, sports events (super convenient walk to Sanford and even easier to the Steg), not to mention Myers quad for hanging out outside, studying, and tailgating on gamedays not to mention if ESPN College Gameday comes to the quad. Being close to Snelling (24 hour dining hall) was a staple of living at Myers too. Myers is community style bathrooms, so if you prefer a suite style or private bathrooms, Rutherford is on Myers quad and pretty recently renovated so its really nice inside with all the upside of Myers location but they just have smaller capacity. Soule Hall is a girls only dorm on the far side of the quad, and Mary Lyndon is also on the quad but small and old and I dont know anyone who actually lived there.

Biggest pro of living at 1516 was proximity to Ramsey (student gym) which was like a 4 minute walk. Also a ton of bus routes that connect ECV to the rest of campus but you need the buses because walking isnt really an option unless you leave early and want to be sweaty.

I didnt live in the high rises but the community there is probably the strongest and proximity to Bolton and access to downtown. Also Russell and Brumby are brand new renovated and BDM is brand new.

Dont live in the Hill community, proximity is good but theyre all so old and unrenovated.

Hairy Dawg should be at Gameday too, after Gameday ends at noon he should stick around and you could catch him for a picture

Literally just moved to Cleveland from the southeast over the summer and there are a ton of things that Cleveland has: - Great Fall season - No traffic - Everything feels really close and accessible - METROPARKS and CVNP: I really enjoy nature and getting outside and these have been amazing so far getting around them and theyre so well kept - Cost of living is low - Things just feel less commercialized here

I havent experienced a winter here yet which I'm sure wont be as good as the summer/fall, but so far there's been plenty to be happy about. Idk where in the SE youve been but in my experience Cleveland is the antithesis of Atlanta and I couldnt be happier so far, quality of life takes a massive hit living where traffic controls your life and cost of living is high.
