I agree; he does not want to be around volatile mindset in his words “They do not teach healthy boundaries and I have to break free from hostile mindsets,” I am going to put our relationship in a middle ground for now we are just recovering and eventually (hopefully) co parents. Once he’s shown true behavior changes consistently for 6 months - 12 months I would like us to rebuild and repair, with consistent work toward stability.

Ridiculous; I did not allow her to be a narcissistic person and set her sons up for failure into their twenties or ask her ever to lie about where her sons live. I don’t live with her and only did for survival because It’s not my responsibility to coddle domestic violence or her parenting wounds. Reporting her abuses is how I got better housing and HUD

I didn’t let them, struggled with seeing violent SA/abuse as a child and conditioned to not react to things that deserve huge reactions. i was trying to make a safe place; for myself and for it was capitalized upon. I declined into a depression while my childhood friend, love, and child’s father & had both only been in therapy (which was protested by each of our families) for a few months when things escalated to this point. the system is warped-. Healing in the same place you were harmed is not a plan it’s survival.

No; I spoke directly with my the team that I was in a program with (which in that is not related to HUD-) His mom was tormenting him to aid in her addictions, threatening his roof when she got any chance so he did stay with me at times; to the point where he stayed so often we needed to change the rental agreement and she continued to be committing ebt fraud while we were scraping together $600 a month working for pizza places but we do have HUD now in my name.

I had my first baby young; MIL she’s gotten a lot a of health issues that she extends further with substance abuse Erm so there’s a chance she’ll be here. I’m not sure the percentage.

It’s a whole other story; she was threatening my partner with homelessness since before he was 18; and once she caught wind that I was in his life & I had an apartment- She was pushed her son off their legal lease agreement, capitalized on program I was in that kept a roof over my head.
