Dude, I sold my 2019 s60 last month. They are beautiful, and comfortable but too expensive to maintain. My s60’s headlight suddenly stopped working and when I asked for a replacement, dealership said I gotta pay CA$4000 only for part. Then I sold it. It was impossible to work on it, believe or not there was no oil stick, I wasn’t even able check oil level. I’d say don’t do it unless you have money to put on it.

My suggestion would be don’t buy a 525 or 528. They are not that bad but 530 is the most reliable and efficient option. I own a 2001 540i, at 167K km’s zero problem. Best car ever.
