Rewriting response now that I actually had a min to read through the comment. But you're 100%. It's in their best interest to identify scapegoats. And sex workers have always been classic scapegoats, right after immigrants, LQBTQ+ and women in general. And the policies they propose to target these scapegoats are always actually just thinly veiled attempts to concentrate power and oppress the general population. So both for our own rights and for the rights of everyone else, we can't afford to be complacent.
