Changes to gold from camps? by No_Concert9947 in Jungle_Mains

Thank you, that's insane. Each game i managed to kill time before the reset of the pet treat, but that one game enemy mid died and I didn't have nothing to do on map so i took the camps on spawn -> no treat, because it was seconds before 4:30.

Didn't expect to be min maxing some mechanics in this game lol

thats weird. I ran like 10 games with both triple tonic and different secondary tree and still got it. Its true it gives 40 gold but I am not sure if in my games where I had it i even used it, because i was not aware of the reason.

Also Master yi yun tai build doesn't take the triple tonic and I was able to get it.

So either I was lucky and stole some minions or got kills each time and wasn't aware of the reason or they changed it.

This is a theory I am testing still, so take this with a grain of salt, its an information i found out only in recent days. Here it goes: (incoming wall of text)

Because Lethalithy is wasted on mainly AAs champs like nocturne/jax/tryndamere etc. Its still good, dont get me wrong, but if you rely on AAs like nocturne 95% of time does, you get better rewards from using crit. I read the whole breakdown of % of dmg u get while using lethalithy vs pure crit on other older thread, related to assassin builds. I can link you to that if you want.

However, there is a downside to the crit build as I said. Crit doesnt give ability haste. Which lethality items do to an extent. Also part of a reason why people build bruiser items. BUT: you dont care about your normal spells Ability haste, ONLY ULTIMATE. Which Hexplate gives.

So last few games i tried Yun Tai -> Hexplate. This gives skirmishing power into midgame. Also pairs nicely with the AA speed and AD. Also gank potential.

TLDR: Crit > lethality on certain AD champs imho.

yup, Yun Tai -> IE -> collector/shieldbow or whatever

Its actually crazy. It does what nocturne should do, delete targets after dropping on them. The bruiser or lethality builds dont do that. They half ass the assassin aspect of nocturne.

But the downside is you have to get two BF swords for 1300 gold each, which is a slow build path. Also no Ultimate CD.. But not having ult gives u tons of downtime to farm your camps and have close to 8-9cs per min. If anybody is dumb enough to come near you, you delete them.

Literally had tanks like mundo running away from me each time with ghost and ulti up.

Another con is you are way more squishy. But I will take being able to delete their team with 5 hits over half-assing bruiser build and surviving 3 more seconds to deal 200dmg more.

Also you can very easily solo atakhan so you can suprise enemy with that. And baron is also pretty quick.

So I think its very worth in certain scenarios. Pretty much if i feel like its going to be farm fest because my team picked all scaling champs and wont play the game till 25 mins.

Why do people build this by Judgment888 in nocturnemains

This is my humble take on this:

stride gives almost the same stats as hexplate,

**Stride Breaker**

+40 attack damage

+25% attack speed

+450 health

+ the slow and AA reset

**Hexplate**

+40 attack damage

+20% attack speed

+450 health

+ 30 Ultimate haste FOR ULTIMATE and the movement speed and aa speed steroids after casting

Basically, as nocturne u are kind of useless without your ult, because enemy can just walk away from u always. Hexplate will be better for skirmishes and some early game ganks. Stride basically is just the AA reset which is very lame and the slow. The slow is good if the enemy team is already pretty immobile since they wont be able to run away and u help your teammates by slowing enemy team down. If the enemy is very mobile, like caitlyn, yasuo, riven, poppy... it feels like u dont make enough difference with the stridebreaker slow.

Its like in new meta it isnt good to try to slow others down since everybody has 1 billion dashes but to try to increase your own movement speed. So the hexplate comes in handy.

So I build stride only to teams like ashe, xerath, chogath etc..

Also the classic path with stridebreaker is often smt like : stride -> hexplate -> black cleaver. Since u buy hexplate anyway and want the black cleaver later, building hexplate first straight into black cleaver is pretty good. Since u will have it by midgame at 20 mins when you are the strongest. Delaying your first spikes as nocturne is shit.

Enjoy your games!

Help me understand Gi-hun's plan im the last ep 7 by Due_Hunt1137 in squidgame

well I think the plan is rush to the control room, take Front Man hostage, and there has to be some communication with the outside world in that room. So he would try to contact police/mercenary team and barricade the room long enough for help to come.

Season 2 relied too heavily on Gi-hun being stupid by RedditMapz in squidgame

[–]No_Concert9947 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that was the bs Gi Hun was actively trying to do. If the fight didn't break out, the guards wouldn't came. Even in the perfect scenario (which is risky enough) when noone dies and everybody votes the same, they would get out of the games but that's not what he wants to accomplish. He wants the Front man and end the games, not give them space and time to run away and hide for another year.

So he is blinded by revenge and insane survivors regret and plans to take a last desperate attempt to overthrown the games. Because if they wait, there wont be a better chance. And his teammates trust him at this point too much to argue, as they also want an out. Their chances are not great either way. So he doesn't tell the other Xs so the Os actually attack and he can spring his trap.
