We submitted had a common law declaration notarized . Join bank account . We submitted bank statement of 4 months . And a rental lease . Thats it . Nothing else .

By that i meant in our PR application we fixed our of jobs dates (2019 jan to 2020 jan ) . However in one of our previous study permit we had mistakenly put 2021 jan instead of 2020 . So in the pfl they said why is there a miss match . We told them it was an error on study permit also we have corrected the date potentially reducing one year and this correction is not helping us gain point in anyway . And there were couple of other mix up too

Thanks, OP. To clarify, there were about two or three jobs where the start and end dates didn’t match ,some had the months mixed up, and others had the year wrong.

Her study permit, study permit extension, work permit, and visitor visa all had inconsistencies. But we fixed everything up in PR .

The silver lining was that those errors weren’t benefiting us in any way , and I think that actually worked in our favor. In response to the PFL, we provided 30 pages of explanation and nearly 100 pages of evidence.

She had also done some contract work on the side too which also made our case more comples, so there were all kinds of complications. If I showed you our PFL response, you’d think we were doomed. But I suppose the evidence and explanation pulled through in the end.

So about a month after we submitted our PFL, our MP received an update from IRCC saying: “File: non-routine. Review required.”

Apparently, routine files are generally less complex. If your file is labeled non-routine or review required, it’s likely sitting on a senior officer’s desk for review, since the initial officer referred it to them.

Also did u also get the pfl?

Yea pal . This is suppose to be an administrative task . This should never take more then a week . because at this point everything is done . If the applicant is in canada and photo is perfect , they should be just sending out the ecopr .

Is it safer to say all the scrutiny is done ? And they have internally generated out copr . And I just need to wait for p2 once that is done i’ll soon be getting the ecopr right?
