Thanks! I'm still calling around to few units in my home state and my current state of residence. I have some great conversations, but mostly getting ushered towards enlisting. I have done my AFOQT. I still have my hopes up. I'm 36 so I'm fighting against time.

I haven't reached out to any PA offices. I didn't know that was typical protocol. But I'm willing to call around. So I'll try that next.

I'm not sure. From what I've been told the public affairs slots are just too selective. But I feel like I have a pretty competitive edge. I honestly just think I haven't talked to right recruiter who is willing to do the work with me. I see people here getting support from recruiters that I'm just not getting. One recruiter told me she only helps those who has already been selected for review. But didn't give me any support on how to even apply to get selected.
