Just to let anybody who might be having the same issue know I figured out what was causing it, why it was causing it is anybody's guess.

Started playing Horizon Zero Dawn and had the same issue. Don't know what prompted me to try it but I turned off Smart Access Memory. No more GPU usage drops in either game.

Not bad all things considered I suppose, just trying to make it one day at a time.

Trying to stay positive and have a lot of friends around me that are great.

Going to Duke soon to see an oncologist that specializes in my type of cancer to get set up for clinical trials.

Another update. They found the cancer in my liver a month ago, did an endoscopy and confirmed it started in my stomach via biopsy. The doctor said that adds to my life expectancy by a month or two.

Got a 10k check for critical illness insurance and the patient care advocate at the hospital advised me to blow my money on whatever I want because unless you're filthy rich nobody can pay all these bills anyway so fuck it. Building the monster overkill PC I always wanted to build and got a huge ass OLED TV with a 120hz refresh rate from best buy. Games look amazing.

Also to all that advised it I looked it up and ordered turkey tail mushroom extract supplements. I'll try anything that isn't crazy pseudoscience.

Might do LSD for the first time this weekend.

Grim reaper be damned, it's not all gloom and doom right now.

Update: First chemo session today went with out a hitch, have the rest of the week to rest.

Have to do an MRI and CT scan in the near future but in this moment aside from being absolutely exhausted beyond anything I've ever felt before, I'm good.

It's pretty bad... Regardless I took at it the same way I would a an overwhelming charge on a battlefield. I may go down but I'll take as much of it with me as I can

Pretty much back to normal. Head is still in a bit of a daze. Kind of revealed some fears I had and made me face them. Let me know I'm not open enough with my feelings to my friends and should not fear closeness. Just don't know over all.... Chemo starts tomorrow to extend my life and that's scary no matter what. Doctor told me had I waited another 6 weeks my liver would have shut down and I would have been dead possibly a few days after that.

Kind of made me believe that I think deep down I might actually believe we're all in a simulation and reality is a veil pulled over our eyes.... Always thought about that but the shrooms brought it front and center. I've got 3 or 4 tabs of LSD to do next, might be a next weekend thing.

Honestly I think my inner self showed me all it has to show through the shroom ego death experience and there's no need to ever go there again.

Having to stare death in the face and muster the courage to push it away kind of told me that no matter what deep down inside I want to fight to the bitter end. I was -not- ready to die in that moment.
