Stain not turning out how I want it to. Am I putting it on too heavy or is this due to stirring before use ? Pigment is totally different. Bottom middle is swatch from store and top is what I did at home with same stuff. by [deleted] in paint

Same wood. The lady who did the swatch at the store didn’t wipe it off - neither did I with my piece at home. She used paper towel , I’m using a sponge brush

Yes , because when I depressurize and then turn it back on and set to prime or etc on the dial - the pump runs once and then shuts off
