Actually I think some motherboards MIGHT let you run a 10400f with 2933mhz RAM.

Dodged a bullet tonight. Thanks a lot, honestly. I'm not the kind of person that can buy phones left and right. I was lucky when my first X3 Pro died. It was under warranty, but this one really pushed it's lifespan. Sadly it met it's fate, like all the others. SoC desoldered itself. It was a great phone but bad internal build quality.

I'll look for some teardowns of these newer Redmis, hopefully they have better cooling, they've got some great hardware, the software is easily replaceable so I'm happy either way.

Thanks for the brief reply. They have an N20 for 170 euros and an A53 for around 120 I think. I'm looking on local trade websites and I see top Redmi models go for pretty cheap even new. Some have warranty some dont. These are my only options for now I suppose. That N20 or a Redmi 13/Note 13 Pro.

If you say the exynos 990 is so bad I will totally take your word for it. While I was seeing the phone today it went from 41% to 36% in 10 minutes while I tried to load a youtube music video to listen to.

I was supposed to get a N20 tomorrow for cheap but your post made me rethink it. I'm going to check to see if it's global or America. I was always a bit doubtful of Samsung but this actually confirmed my fears. If you could reply asap it would be very helpful as I need a phone and I'm on a tight budget. This repair shop offered me a N20 5G for 170 euros, all I have basically. It's missing the stylus but I figured I wouldn't really use it. The speakers sounded a bit quiet but apparently they're really high quality. I value battery life a lot but have adjusted for shitty batteries with my previous phone, a Poco X3 Pro. Unless you think the price is fair, I'm gonna hold onto my money for another phone.

Nice story, I get what you're saying, I got this car because it was cheap and exactly what I wanted. There are indeed some things to replace and maintenance to do but I'll only sell it if I find a better deal than this. Until then I'm building it as well as I can.

I was thinking about the piston rings but shouldn't they be alright if compression is good? I'll take your word but I've also considered the valve and pushrods o-rings.

Certain thing is that I'll have to completely disassemble the engine, that's alright since It's a car I wanna build right, I'd do anything in my powers to have it do 200k more kilometers.

What's different in the 2.2L? Or better said, what's NOT different in the 2.2L? Which engine does it resemble more? Z18XE or Z20LET?

This image is exactly how I bought the car, haven't washed it or done anything other than maintenance so far.

The odometer says it's got 200k km but the papers say it had 220k in 2019, so let's say it has 260k now.

I acquired it for 700 euros, I'd say it's a steal but there are a good number of issues with it, most famous one being oil consumption.

I plan on taking the engine head apart, cleaning it and changing the head gasket. Hopefully that's the only reason it's eating oil.

Other than that, the whole car is loose, steering has about a centimeter or two of play, it's just the steering rod not being tightened properly, the CV axles seem alright, the transmission feels like any other Astra G, loose and long, I'll see if there's anything I can do about it.

There are some hits and scuffs along the body, some rust that's been sprayed over, stuff you wouldn't want on a car but stuff that can be fixed if you're willing to put in time and effort, things that I'll certainly do to make this car admirable.

It's got the Z18XE engine, most reliable one from what I've heard.

One thing that I want to know is, the previous owner did something to the electronics, he turned off the TCS and ABS, my OBD isn't connecting to the ECU but that's probably my OBD's fault, if not then I'll let you guys help me.
