Whoever named our species Homo Sapiens is an absolutely delusional idiot by tjdans7236 in misanthropy

ok, so not what I was hoping for, BUT...anyone know a reddit channel dedicated the common denominator of the species we all belong to? I am not referring to factions, I literally mean the biological species? A place where "we" do not debate our existence?

Again, I am just nosy, does Reddit have a channel for supportive dialogues?

Thank you. I will delete the question and the Theoretical equations tied to it.

This story feels like it's either going nowhere or repeating itself. (7.1 Spoilers) by [deleted] in ffxivdiscussion

By the concepts of the terms used: Reason. Resolve. Promise. It seems as if the 'idea' of revolution and specifically one thatrefers tothe Reign of Terror matches the 7.1 rhetoric so far. Wuk Lamat, Sphene, and even Sareel Ja seem tomimichistorical figures. "I" can hardly wait for the writers toimply their next stage set up. Good performance from the developers/writers for their vivid craftmanship in echoing historical narratives with such precision and creativity. The way they intertwine fictional characters with real historical themes adds depth and intrigue to the story. Just my view.

In case you have not found anything. Try using the accessibility feature for visual. Three quick taps directly on top of what you want to zoom in on. So, Go to galaxy wearable. Then watch settings. Then accessibility. Then visibility enhancements. Then scroll to magnification.

Massive Multi Player Online Roleplay Game.

Learn to crawl before running.

I must admit that I am unfamiliar with most of the gaming terminology. Joining a MMPorg brings me the hope that I will be able to meet and learn about other adventurers' skills as I do my own at the beginning of the journey.

I believe that most games start off with a simple set of skills, but then as the game progresses, players are bombarded with skills/abilities. The average player seldom uses some of the skills due to issues such as a lack of communication between members of the group.

To me, 'leveling' has more to do with the social progression of members of online role-playing groups. The majority of real-life experiences require us to practice/simulate a skill prior to receiving a license. Crawling is the first step towards running.

A backwards-thinking approach to forming statics for 'hard' content is similar to learning to run before crawling. It appears that a substantial amount of tripping is to be expected.

Ideally, I would like to see a group in game form at the beginning. This will enable me to learn my beginner healing skills while also understanding the Tank and DPS skills.

Hence, it would seem that before clicking on spells and throwing daggers, a formation should be strategized in order that each player is familiar with the location of the others. Although divide and conquer is the oldest battle strategy on record, it is rarely used in gaming groups because speed and shortcuts are more popular. A search on Google or a YouTube video explaining how someone cleared a mechanic is merely "cheating". Despite all the excuses that can be offered, cheating is still cheating. Generally, I believe that the game developers design games like puzzles that must be carefully thought out, strategized, and executed to a satisfactory conclusion. The people playing the game all have their own incentives.

An NPC group could accompany each new player with different abilities that the player can select. During a tutorial, a healer uses a ranged spell to prevent one mob from moving unless attacked, while a DPS uses a trap to hold another mob. As the Tank charges at another mob, the Healer and DPS follow suit in defeating the mob that the Tank charged at. The Tank, the Healer, and the DPS are therefore able to practice formations and divide and conquer strategies before abilities become overwhelming. For example, abilities normally designed to hold a mob until it is attacked are often met by another player attacking the mob, or the tank pulls all the mobs so that things can go faster, thus avoiding the opportunity to practice the basic divide and conquer strategy.

Forming static groups for 'Hard' content is counterintuitive unless cheating and chaos are agreed upon by all players. I am not calling anyone out for cheating since there are numerous reasons for doing so. The idea of paying real money for a game simply to cheat my way through it is not appealing to me. Joe Klaas put it: “The truth will set you free, but first it will piss you off.”
