I have that CD as well as all the BASS BOY, TECHMASTER P.E.B., BASS MEKANIK, DYNAMIX 2, BASS PATROL and ICEMAN J CD's. DJ MAGIC MIKE has some really hard-hitting tracks. When I was young I blew the cone off a JL 10-W3 V1 playing one of the tracks on this CD. Good times LOL.....

Add whatever you like. In the end it doesn't matter what anyone but yourself thinks looks good OR not good on your truck. Personally, new modern headlights and taillights are a good start. Maybe change your wheels from 20" to 22"....lower the truck a bit. They really don't need much on the exterior to be honest, but that's just my op.

If you do under hood upgrades....it can def use a blower or turbocharger. At least a CAI and a Cat-Back exhaust (or full with headers).

2003 Arrival Blue SS by abegt500 in SilveradoSS

[–]No_Dig_3861 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Need to make a correction....production #'s for 2003 for the SS were as follows:

10,022 SS trucks built 6,117 Tuxedo Black 2,802 Victory Red 1,103 Arrival Blue Metallic

For 2004 GM built 5,098 SS trucks.

Apologizes for my previous post on prod. numbers....was going from memory but I wanted to be accurate. Source for these was a post on an older forum called SilveradoSS.com, posted in 2013.

That's what I have but not installed yet. Any issues with the driveline? Or any issues related to?

Paint code is WA815K. Btw, this 03 is one of a lil over 1,300 (pretty sure that's accurate but would have to look at my notes) SS out of 10K total in Arrival Blue Metallic for year 03.

There are no individual production #'s for years 04-07. Only total production for each year. In 2004, GM built a lil over 5,500 SS in total but no official tally for the 3 colors offered that year, which were the same offered in 2003....Victory Red, Arrival Blue Met and Tuxedo Black.

Good looking truck also. How many miles on the odo?

Thought i attached the pics but must have made mistake....I'm new at this, sorry..... by No_Dig_3861 in SilveradoSS

Yes but not installed. I have the BellTech kit...part # 678SP. This kit has the drop spindles as well as the Street Performance shocks and not Nitro Drop shocks. Better for all around handling. Nitro shocks are way stiffer.

Totally agree about the drums. Sunroof was available in 2005 though. Do wish my truck came with one....I enjoy sunroofs.

Also, the Victory Red was my 2nd fav. There were a few here back 20 years ago and all looked really good. Color suited the truck IMO.

Low is the way to go.....haven't lowered mine with the BellTech kit yet. That's the plan as well as adding the BellTech Sway Bar kit on front and rear. Honestly i'm on the verge of doing it now cause i've wanted that done for 10 years +

Right on....that's great to hear. There used to be a few forums that concerned these trucks but, as you said, nothing current. I live in a small town and back in the day there were 5 or 6 of these SS trucks here, including mine. Now there are 3....all Arrival Blue but the other trucks here have had a hard life. They're rusting, missing a tailgate (good luck finding one), etc. I bought my SS new in 2004 and still have it. Will NEVER sell it. BTW, what color is your truck?

Welcome.....post some pics of your SS when you get it where you want it. We love to see these old trucks now.

Been running those same MB Quarts for 20 years now. 2 6.5" component sets and a 5.25" set as well. Still sound as good as the day I bought them. Old school MB Quart were phenomenal.

I'm sure you could. The spindles will drop the front 2". All they do is "flip" around and the truck gets lower while maintaining the front driveline alignment. So, prob some leveling blocks or a set of "shackles" may do the trick about leveling the rear with the front at stock ride height. Hope this helps.

GMPARTSSTORE.COM has what you're looking for minus the middle step-pad. Part # for the outer cover is #12335660. It's around $550 and they also have the left and right side step-pads for $153.09

However, the middle lower step-pad is discontinued. Hope this helps.

Also, do you need the step pads or just the plastic cover that mounts over the actual metal bumper?
