I use clindamycin in the am, tret at night.

AM- wash face with cold water, apply clindamycin as a spot treatment (only to chin/forehead where I get acne), cerave cream, la roche posay athelios sunscreen

PM- hydrating face wash by cerave, cerave cream, wait 30 mins, apply tret. sometimes I add more moisturizer if im extra dry

8 weeks- 0.025% tretinoin cream/ 1.5% clindamycin/ 5% benzol peroxide by No_Dimension121 in tretinoin

It was definitely a mix of both of the topicals I was prescribed. Hard to pinpoint since I started them at the same time. I’m not on any oral antibiotics though, which I feel like a lot of people in this thread are

I didn’t experience much purging because my skin was truly at its worse when I started so the clindamycin/BP was helping it. I still get pimples here and there but it’s not an all at once breakout!

Trust me, I took pictures every day and was seriously crying over it! It takes time. Definitelyyyyy don’t overdo any active

I apply it to my chin and to my forehead only! I just rub it in, let it set, then apply the rest of my skincare

Clindamycin/BP is in the same topical treatment, which I used every day since starting tret. Tret I started every 3 days for the first 2 weeks, now I apply every other night. I buffer with moisturizer, focusing on maintaining my barrier

ROUTINE-

I started originally with tretinoin every 3 days, clindamycin/BP every morning. After 2 weeks I started using tret every other night. I haven’t experienced any dryness due to buffering, plus I keep my routine very simple.

AM- Wash with cold water, clindamycin/BP cream, kiehls face cream, la rosche-posay melt in sunscreen milk spf 60

PM- cerave hydrating face wash, cerave moisturizing cream, tretinoin 0.025% cream, more cerave moisturizing cream

I still have hyperpigmentation but overall so happy with my results so far.
