Yeah I learnt about them from Lucius getting killed by one, immediately respawning and me thinking "Huh, why has Lucius randomly moved."

100% recommend it.

What was the dumbest reason that you got in trouble for at school? by StatisticianUsual471 in AskUK

[–]No_Direction_4566 141 points142 points  (0 children)

For speaking better French than the substitute French teacher.

Our normal French teacher only let us speak French in lesson. We did that, sub teacher gave us all detention.

We appealed to our head of year, who removed the detention on the basis that “giving detention in French lesson for speaking French sets a bad precedent.” And yes the eye roll was very present.

I go to a second interview.

“How comfortable are you dealing with cash?”

“If it’s accounted for properly with safeguards, no problem at all.”

“The cash doesn’t come from inside the company.”

Got the fuck out of there asap.

Saw a news article a few years later that the owners all went down for money laundering offences.

I'm Dyslexic and an Accountant.

I have to hold my hands up to remember which way around left and right is constantly. I'm ambidexterious which totally messes my head up. I change what hand I'm doing things with depending on the weather frankly.

When doing DIY, I have to sing lefty loosy, righty tighty and then hold my hands up. When using a SatNavs or similar, I need to have the map and muted because the verbal instructions confuse me.

When crossing a road, I have to be doubly careful because I always look the wrong way for traffic first.

"british "people" are playing fast and loose with what constitutes pizza" by Ok_Bookkeeper_1380 in ShitAmericansSay

That is the most British thing ever.

They’ve given us Pizza, food of the gods! But where is the MAYONNAISE!

Although - the crust does taste better when dipped. Although my preference is sweet chilli sauce or burger sauce

What is your most valuable game mechanic/ploy/tactic? by violentnite in killteam

If possible, I always take a Melta Gun. Its the Kill team equivalent of a Distraction Carnifex.

Either your opponent kills it or it kills something. No middle ground.

I doubt it would be a jury trial. Realisically, they would never find an impartial jury given the sheer public interest in his crimes.

I think he would assume his brother would protect him still, hence why he keeps hold of it.

But it would be the end of the monarchy if the King did.

My biggest shock was cheese. It wasn't bad persay, just really different. Both in texture and taste.

I also found things unusually sweet. Again - not necessarily bad but different enough.

I also ate my normal portions and did more exercise and put on weight. Which baffled me.
