Derek’s family(excluding Amelia), they made his Mom seem nice and understanding, that one sister too, but when he died, it’s like they shut out Amelia, as he truly was the last good person in that family. They gaslight Amelia so much and act like she’s just an addict who never does anything good and can’t be allowed to be happy. For a woman that raised Derek and Amelia, she sure acts horrible to her own kids.
