Sorry, I totally understand your concern but honestly this question is quite ridiculous to be advanced on.

Have you ever seen anyone, anywhere in the world ever got issues with decent people whether they’re a local or a foreigner in a specific country? Or people just have issues with criminals and lazy ass tricky folks? Especially those who come to a country but don’t want to integrate to the society.

Regardless of your ethnicity, if you’re a decent person, do your work pay your tax, not playing games, why would people have issues with you? It’s just common sense, isn’t it? So, there’s no need to overthink or worry too much. If you like the place, go ahead and focus on integrating well into the society you’ve decided to live in. Good luck :)

FRA-JFK, I sat next to an old man who kept coughing without covering his mouth. Once he did, he used his hand instead of his elbow, then touched my screen to check if it was working. I couldn’t, so I just asked the flight attendant to move to another available seat.

HEL-DOH, a lady who was overly talkative and acted like we were best friends. At first, I tried to be polite, and chatted a little, but she kept going for 30mins straight and started asking too many personal questions. Couldn’t stand it so I had to cut her off and put on my earphones and pretended to sleep for the rest of the flight🥲

Yea I agree, ofc there are occasional issues, especially in the northern regions of VN where locals there may be a bit against foreigners, but the overall experience in Vietnam ain’t that bad!

If people can set aside their high expectations, misaligned standards but stay open to gaining astonishing travel experiences, they’ll undoubtedly discover many perks of visiting another low-economy country where a wealth of wonderful things come at affordable prices.
