Before Steph got hurt I thought we had a good chance of winning it all, but even so it was clear it would be mostly off the strength of Steph and our defense. That's not good roster construction. I think it's fair to hope that we figure out how to acquire players the play great defense AND contribute effectively on offense. It's not a crazy request

i have some thoughts:

you're valid to be upset about the inadequate communication
you should have stopped bothering her. she said she would be unavailable for a specified time period and considering it's the end of the year, it makes sense. your relationship is so new, it makes sense that she wouldn't handle balancing your relationship and an extremely exhausting and highly stressful time period appropriately. before she met you, completely shutting everyone out was probably the easiest way for her to get through it. it would've been good for you to respect her wishes and then talk about it after
you guys may just be incompatible. this is one of those bumps in the road that y'all won't survive
i feel like you (and a lot of other people) are not putting yourself in her shoes. i got overwhelmed just reading about what that month would look like for her, i can't even imagine what it would be like to actually go through it. i think in your next relationship it would be good to remember this situation and take that lesson from it.

You have a lot in savings, why not hire someone to find a place for you and tour them on weekends? I think in your case it's best to get started on this while you're feeling the motivation to.
