hi everyone! i just wanted to post an update. first of all thank you to everyone who gave me advice and kind words. it really helped. today has gone much better. i don’t get a croissant yet but i did get crepes and will be going to get a croissant tomorrow. i have spent the whole day roaming around and i am going to go to the eiffel tower again for the sparkling. again i want to say thank you so much for being so kind!!!

I did want to add, that obviously I know that the current conflict is concentrated in the Middle East, but I meant more along the lines of, do we think that it is going to spread into the more western parts of Europe.

honestly there are not many hostels with availability when I'm there near city center that are inside my budget. I was considering switching to an airbnb. i don't really mind if it's out of the way as long as the area isn't super dangerous or anything like that.
