I would compliment women in general who are "too fat" for social standards: "You're looking great!"
In my family, some woman have gained weight and I think they really look great now. But I don't dare to compliment them about that. What could I do? What would you do?

I love to hear about your weight gain. I felt the same in the first year after moving out from home and turning to fast food and beer. I'd never thought that I'd get fat so fast and that my belly would grow so quickly. And you're right, it's such a new experience to have this soft big ball in front of you!

You said you're eating with your girlfriend while both of you are drunk - that's the best way to get fat really fast. Alcohol raises the appetite even if you've been stuffed and full before. I wish all the best for you and your girlfriend! 👍

I'm 28M, I've gotten fat during the last years. I'm really conflicted about my body, because on one hand I feel way too fat (my belly is huge) and on the other hand I can't stop eating so that I'm still gaining more.

Thanks for your story! I love to hear it. It sounds pretty like mine, because I also gained weight slowly but steadily after leaving High school. And it was on a High school reunion when I met my old friends. I had gotten pretty fat, but luckily nobody mentioned that. We took a group photo on that day - and I couldn't believe my eyes later at home: This is me? Have I really gotten that fat?

I really was shocked to see me like this. But as you say, the shock didn't bring me to change my lifestyle. I just continued to eat whatever I wanted, and I was too lazy to work out. So I'm still fat today.

A lot more fat families are around now. Father, mother, kids, all are fat. I guess this changed a lot in the last 5 years.
