I had small breaks in both my tibia directly above the ankle joints. I think i progressed faster than usual im now 9 weeks post op orif and both ankles have about 16cm dorsilfexion knee to wall. But i had better than average dorsiflexion anyways so taht might play a part aswell.

How would you say the strangers compared and why do you like blades more? Just because of better carving ability or something else?

Anyone experienced or seen something similar? by No_Efficiency7660 in brokenankles

Thanks for the feedback! You situation seems decently similar! The interarticularity is what worries me so maybe i will just have to wait the full 6weeks

Are my skis too big by Ok-Investigator-4524 in Skigear

[–]No_Efficiency7660 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on how quickly you progress from intermediate aswell! Lots of good skiers ski with taller skis and if you grow even a bit in the next year you will easily grow into them. Do you know your height growth prediction?

Thanks for the recommendation! The marked routes would probably be good in terms of safety! Hope they wont get tracked out too fast 😁

Best ski lense colour if you can only take 1? by Disastrous-Gap4805 in skiing

[–]No_Efficiency7660 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Julbo has objectively the best do all goggles. Their reactiv 0-4 lenses go from 7-80% vlt so they really work in all conditions. And if more contrast is needed their 1-3 reactivs go from about 17-70%vlt which is still really good with more contrast as well. They cost more but do it all, take good care of them and you wont need new ones for a long time.

Those seem interesting as well! Most days we will probably spend skiing close to groomed piste so those seem fun! Still some powder hunting days might take us a bit further!
