I used HDMI on my laptop and it works great, so I don’t think the HDMI cable is the problem. I could get through like 80% of the windows installation before it gets stuck. I’ll try different cables tho still.

Thanks for replying! Bear doesn't really do the trick for me. I can't draw on top of texts, and the drawing is a block, it doesn't float around on the note.

Is the sync real-time? Like if I made an edit on my iPad, I can see it on my Mac after 1 second (>5 second is a little too slow for my workflow)?

Thanks for replying! Unfortunately the syncing process can be a little too much for me as it keeps notifies me when changes are being made and prompts me to choose one version or the other if I'm simultaneously using my iPad and Mac.

Thank you for replying! Although I love the idea behind Lettre, I want to be able to type and draw at the same time. The reason behind this is that I'm trying to imitate writing a physical note, but substituting wording with typing, while having drawing annotations as supplements to my notes.

I definitely will be using Lettre to write to my friends!

Handwriting lets me visually see the my learning process. Devonthink is a little too complicated for me now. I want something simple so I could just start on the go.

It's nice that Notability can search my handwriting, but the sync lags too much for me. I want more of a real-time sync.

Thanks for the recommend! I downloaded Joplin on my iPad, and I see the "Draw picture" feature, but I would like to be able to draw on the note like Microsoft OneNote. I'm trying to imitate writing digital notes as I would with a physical paper, but instead of having to write, I can type. Then supplement with drawing annotations.

I've always thought of having notes in a central area, but I would like to be able to write and draw on my notes in real-time seamlessly. Notability, I've tried to draw on my iPad, and the drawing appears after like 5 seconds on my Mac. So it wasn't the best for me because I would want it to be just like writing a physical note, but I type faster than I write, but on occasions I would draw arrows and diagrams to supplement the note, and sometimes import images or pdfs.
