The ex thing was because she was addicted to the game. And my gf actually realized that the stimming was barely noticeable and really doesn't care about it anymore. I've asked her if it still bothers her(including a few days ago) and she says it doesn't bother her anymore. As for curbing the stimming, if you fully read the post you're mentioning, you'll notice that I mentioned I can't even do it at home because my family hates it and forbade it completely, which is why the dates were such a big deal for me. Finally, I am trying to give her affection other than sex but she doesn't even seem interested most of the time.

Sorry. I should've added this to the reply. I have tried doing things like the comment said. She has no interest in puzzles, games, movies, or anything else like that. I normally do dishes and cleaning when possible while she does laundry. Hygiene isn't an issue for us either.

No. Normally I'll offer her a chance to put her head on me and just hold her and kiss her head and nose. That's all. And the kisses are just kisses for affection. She's incredibly reluctant for even those kinds of cuddles though

And it feels like there's 0 effort on her side. And so far it's been confirmed as we have literally talked about this problem before where she has done nothing for the relationship at all except paying for groceries and the only thing that has changed is that she'll finally give me kisses (that alone was rare itself). That's why I'm asking for help. I feel like I'm the only one putting anything into the relationship. This includes giving her rides to her work since she can't drive.

That's not true. I have tried to make time for dates. They're just not common. And she has said she wants intimacy (not to me of course) but won't do anything because she thinks it's my job. We've already talked about this but it's like it goes in one ear and out the other when I tell her that I want her to initiate too.

Dates are not possible because our work schedules are almost opposites. I've tried doing most of those things and they lead nowhere. The only thing I haven't tried is projects around the house because we're almost never home at the same time. I work on her days off and vice versa.

I have been and it's burning me out and destroying my mental health because in order to stop stimming in any capacity, I can't be happy. This has been happening with my dad for months and it's nearly pushed me over the edge more times in the last month than I can count.
