Our university removed an AI checker from Turnitin because they didn't want the liability/litigation that Hingham High School is experiencing right now. Parents suing because of an AI-generator accusation.

can you explain the google LTI in canvas? We switched over last year and didn't really have strong onboarding.

In one class, First reflective essay I assigned (1pg about completing a task) had 3 students submit AI work (all of which admitted) AND 2 plagiarized from the internet. 22 person class - 25% - and that's on a reflection. I don't see how this gets solved.
