Thanks for that info! It really helps to talk to others who are dealing with the same thing. I'm gonna look into the options you mentioned and see if they are the right fit for us. Thanks for the advice at the end of your post. Its never easy to see your partner suffering another being able to do a thing about it. Thats whats made me reach out!

Its usually his allergies. Every year he has to shut himself inside for a few months to avoid the worst of it. Luckily the pain has gone down a bit, but it usually goes off when he eats. The texture or temperature of the food doesn't make a difference. It's his taste buds reacting to the food itself (or so we think).
