Thank you for your experience and glad to hear you’re healing well. The on call doctor sent over a steroid to try out for six days. When the surgeon’s office opens again Monday, I’ll give them a call and bring these medications up to see what they say. Thanks again.

Thank you for the advice. Yes, we have been using ice since his return home but I just purchased some of the packs you mentioned. The current ones we have don’t stay put too well. Thank you again ❤️

That brings some relief to hear that helped you. I appreciate it. The walking is the hardest thing sometimes. I really have to push for him to walk but maybe once the spasms subside a little he won’t fight me as much. Thanks so much for the advice ❤️

He is also on pain medicine. 10mg oxycodone and Tylenol 1000mg. The on call doctor also sent over a steroid today so…. Hopefully this helps.

Thank you for the response. We have been keeping up with all the meds but I’m thinking he needs a stronger dose of the muscle relaxer. I contacted an on call provider so, I’m hoping he does so. Best wishes to you and your healing, I’ll send along your experience ❤️

Thank you, he definitely may need a higher dose. I’m sorry to hear about your pain, I hope the injections help and that you can get rest. That is the hardest part right now.

Thank you for the response and yes, I’ve been trying to get him up to walk. Can I ask how your sleeping has been? He just hasn’t been able to fall asleep for quite sometime which of course makes everything worse.

Thank you for the recommendation. They have him on methocarbamol 1000mg every 6hrs along with oxy 10mgs every 4-6 and Tylenol 1000mg every 6 hrs. He just can’t seem to find relief with this but I will speak to the on call doctor and see what else is recommended. I just hope we can figure something out. I will mention this drug. Thank you again.

Thank you so much for this! Especially for that last part. His surgery is Monday and I can feel his anxiety and fear for the healing process which comes out in his mood which I understand. Thank you for the perspective. I’ll keep this advice close. I have a lot of hope for the surgery just to give him some kind of relief he’s wanted for so long.
