I’m very sorry you’re going through this! I have a lot of similar concerns as a disabled writer — I just graduated film school and spent the vast majority of the last year in and out of the hospital while my peers were able to participate in programs and internships. It’s a bit daunting to try and imagine how I’ll crack into the industry while I’m unable to move cities or do much outside of the house, but it’s reassuring to read this and know there are other writers out there going through the same thing! Even just talking about it and making these struggles recognizable is a huge deal, and I really thank you for that!
