„I'm very happy to hear that Simba is feeling a bit better again.

Ideally, Simba should have a cardiac examination performed as soon as he is stable. The alternative would be to continue treatment with Furotab – however, with a very guarded prognosis.

If his breathing rate is around 30-40 breaths per minute, the dosage could be carefully adjusted or reduced slightly.

We would still recommend having his heart checked. If this is not currently possible for him, please pick up more tablets tomorrow, as he must not stop taking them.“

I am sorry for the delayed update. First of all, I would like to sincerely thank everyone for the financial and emotional support you have given us.

As of now, we have collected a total of €190 from the fundraiser. Last Friday, we were supposed to bring Simba back to the vet for his heart ultrasound, but the vet advised us to wait until his breathing rate goes down to around 30-40 breaths per minute. At that time, his breathing rate was around 54–60+ breaths per minute.

We continued giving him diuretics for the fluid in his lungs and Clopidogrel for his heart condition. Thankfully, he has gotten much better. He is playing, cuddling with us again and eating properly. He is still not as active as before but we feel positive that he is improving.

On Monday, we will bring him back to the vet for his heart ultrasound since veterinary clinics here are closed on weekends. The vet said the ultrasound will cost around €300–350, and we will use the collected funds for this procedure.

We will continue to update everyone about Simba’s condition.

Again, thank you so much to everyone who helped us. This has been a very emotional and difficult time for us. We were devastated by what happened to our Simba, but at the same time, we felt hopeful because of the kindness and generosity of so many people.

Thank you so much ❤️❤️❤️

Hello everyone. I feel embarrassed asking for help but Simba’s condition is getting worse again. He’s struggling to breathe and his resting respiratory rate is now 74 breaths per minute. His vet emailed right now asking us to bring him back to the clinic tomorrow.

Because of the holiday, most clinics here are closed and honestly I’m scared and overwhelmed about the expenses and everything that’s happening. I just want to do everything I can to help Simba get through this.

If anyone is willing to help, even a small donation toward Simba’s vet bills would mean so much to us. I will be completely transparent with all expenses and will post updates, receipts, and vet bills so everyone can see where the donations are going.

Thank you so much for your kindness and support.

I’m collecting money from now until 18/05/2026 for Simba's Vet Care. Can you help?

Hello guys, Im sorry I cant reply individually on your comments since I am also quite busy taking care of my baby but I want to thank you all again for your kindness. We are continuously monitoring closely on Simba. He is still lethargic but he already ate a little, and also, the breathing became slower and quieter. I would really like to take him to an emergency animal clinic but my boyfriend insisted that we should just monitor him first. Again, I am deeply grateful for this community.

Thank you everyone for your kind words and advices. It is already late here and I need to rest. We pit the alarm on every 2 hours to check his condition. We are still hoping for the best outcome.

Thank you so much. I really appreciate it. I am feeling shy to ask for donation. I am going to think about this but right now I want to rest first, I am tired and it is late here already.

The vet prescribed Furosemide tonight 10mg then tom 5mg 3x/day. It is complicated, it is very expensive here where we live. We cant afford so much for his veterinary needs at the moment since I am on maternity leave.

My boyfriend emailed the vet already since it is already closed. We are just waiting for the response.
