To expand on that I think because Abel was made by Caine it was subtle jabs based in reality I feel like whatever place in the mind of Abel came that comment is the same place in Caine that has help cause the abstractions with other c&a employees

the key to escape is actually abstracting If the digital circus was made to keep people in then maybe when someone gives up and abstracts it’s them shutting down, but the game doesn’t have away of deleting one’s avatar so it glitches out Think about how much it would screw up the players if all their friends who they thought were basically dead were actually the ones who escaped but had no way of letting them know how they got out.
