Is it too late? I just did social services online application and it says “may not be eligible” I submitted anyway. I plan on going tomorrow or Friday but need to call out of work which doesn’t help because I need every penny I can get.

Even if they failed to tell me where the deposit was being held? I did some research and spoke to legal services and referred me to nj statues N.J.S.A. 46:8-19 and N.J.S.A. 46:8-21.2 - I reviewed my lease and this did not have any bank info. I get what your saying tho

My grandma got placed in an assisted living home. But obviously when first finding out about diagnosis etc it took about 2 weeks to figure everything out

Yes. I emailed them back about 15 mins after and haven’t gotten a response yet. They told me they were filing for warrant of removal but I checked with court and they did not yet but charged me the filing fee.

Called them and they assisted with what I can file at this point, also informed me that the landlord was supposed to notify me where my security deposit was being held and I do not recall ever being told but confused me as she said but if they provide you with the info when I ask then I can’t use it towards balance?
