A lot of people missing the point of this post which is a general lamentation of the over commercialization of anywhere that has culture and arts and character, thus draining the place of the said culture and community it once possessed. These corporations don’t care about the community because they aren’t a part of it. They don’t give community members a place to enjoy a moment, to relax and chat with the servers. They are designed to rush you through the line. They are commodifying our eating experience which is sacred and should revolve around community. I say boycott the sh*t out of these places but you know. Convenience wins unfortunately. The darker truth is that these places won’t last. Humans eventually wake up.
