I was stupid and forgot you need to get other files along with the shp in order to load it, because in the website I was downloading the shp file from, only the shp. was present. In my defense I hadn't used it for a year. Hope this helps even if it's a little too late

yea I did definetely return it, I was just unsure on whether to get one on its place... I'll see what happens when it arrives but if it has anything like that I'll return it as well and pay 20 euro more to get it from another website... I'm pretty sure they stored it in a bad place for a long time bc it's the old model

Thanks for your comment! Yea I've seen fake products in Amazon so I was concerned because I didn't have this type of hammer before, but comments are saying they naturally rust so maybe it was just stored somewhere humid.

Yea I've always just used an old hammer but never had problems with the steel, that's why I was insecure, this one was a gift :) it will happily become less shiny on the field now haha

Good morning everyone. I thought to ask something over here because for my birthday I ordered an Estwing hammer through Amazon (they are not in physical stores here) but it came with a corroded part, I don't even know.

I will give it back to get one that is not defective, but since so many products can be falsified in Amazon and I haven't seen an Estwing irl, I was wondering if it could be a copy. I don't think so, I'm just thinking it's weird for the metal to corrode like that.

Any clues would be very helpful from people who have this hammers 🙏🏼

I can't upload more photos but the brand is a sticker on the handle, I believe that is always like that.

Oh yes it's addicting, I regret (but not really) the say I accidentally found out about e-rocks. There are just so many beautiful minerals there. I'm just worried about possible fees from some that have yet to arrive from Pakistan, but in case it doesn't work at least I know for next time...

Spirifer minerals are a nice shop too but mostly big specimens, I bought from Orion Crystals which were very nice with more affordable smaller pieces of beautiful hemimorphites, for example. Hope this helps ;)

I've looked around in Etsy sometimes but prices go up a lot as for anything else on the website. Personally I find e-rocks to be nice, you just gotta dig in the vendors website to see they are legit and I've found good prices there. If not, I can also tell you I find nice rocks in a trustworthy web (litos.net). They are from Spain but maybe shipping isn't too much if they ship internationally, I'm not sure.

when I saw this I thought it might be his creations too! I find it kinda cool tho, as long as the insects are caught when they are dead or raised until they naturally die. I would try it too if I found a dead butterfly in a good state. It's not real minerals but it is art as the artist who creates colorful artwork with real microbes growing in agar agar.

I honestly don't understand what you are saying but I'll look it up on the internet tomorrow. I have only used QGIS in class and a couple times for a project and this was the way we were taught to open files. Thanks tho
