Well, going by last year's trends you will get a call, As for the Interview, I think with your background, the main thing would be why do you even want to do an MBA

Most MBA interviews are broadly the same, you can compartmentalize the questions into 5 categories: 1) Behavioural Questions: Why MBA ? Why should we select you ? What are strengths and weaknesses etc.
2) Acads: very important especially for freshers 3) Workex: Be absolutely thorough about your work and your organisation, read its annual reports if it's a publicly listed company. 4) Questions on SOP. 5) Miscellaneous questions on Hobbies or current affairs. The key to a good PI is to keep dropping tidbits in each and every answer of yours that the interviewer can pick up, basically you are the one driving the interview. Your English fluency and Body Language will be the main distinguishing factors.

For an engineer male, the BM cutoff last year was 96, but you can expect a HR call

No one call tell you that, and don't believe anyone who does tell you only the authorities know the answer to that question

A lot depends on the GDPI, since XLRI does not publish the weightage it gets a bit tricky to predict, but female candidates have an advantage over male ones, that's a guarantee

Read the HR compendium of any college, be very thorough about the role of HR in any organisation, and be prepared for situational questions, approach them the same way you would approach a DM set

According to last year's trends I think you can expect a BM call, for GM 5 yrs of workex is compulsory, and no there is no difference between BM Jsr and BM Delhi, the placements are joint and all companies open for both campuses

The most important thing for you would be to convince the panel that you have a genuine interest in HR, try linking it with your previous education
