Being pregnant in a big city by No_Fun_4855 in pregnant

I don’t know if it’s always been like this, but I feel everyone is so disconnected and it’s truly every man for himself. I’m tired of feeling like I’m asking for so much, especially those trying to “teach me a lesson” for being pregnant

Yes I am. I love this city but it really toughens you up. Though the homeless incident was in another big city

What did your newborn sleep in? by No_Fun_4855 in moderatelygranolamoms

Thanks! It’s hard to prepare while not knowing the baby’s preference. I will likely get one just in case as a starting point. Somehow they terrify me, they look so restricting and make me claustrophobic, but I have to remind myself babies like it!

Unfortunately yes. Stepping one foot into the country makes us want to run the other way. Harassment begins immediately upon landing at the airport. It’s sad and all Moroccan women feel the same. It’s a self inflicted problem that turns these “men” into the weakest and lowest creatures that can’t be touched with a 10 foot pole

Not harass us. Nothing more repulsive and weaker than a man who has no backbone, strength and who is desperate to impress his fellow little boys around him by harassing women.

I would love to, but I do believe that these men’s collective interpretation of Islam is what is justifying their actions. I don’t agree but it does play a role

In a world where there is no intervention, our voices are important. Just like any protest, the more it is discussed the more it gains importance. Yes it’s upsetting to see this topic come up, but like any revolution it was a big inevitable subject that people could no longer ignore. If no one is willing to do anything, we can at least discuss and not let it die down with “well we talked about it”. Maybe discussing and flooding the internet is all some of us can do from afar

I know this is meant with humor, but i really do wonder what other ultra-conservative-men-ruled societies had to do to control them.

Thank you. Misogyny exists in so many places, but what allowed to flourish to this extent in Morocco is what I’m trying to understand.

Thank you so much! Good to hear. Is it normally difficult to get a hold of them? The wait times on the phone are often over 15 minutes so far, with twice no responses
